Privacy Policy

What we collect

Your email address and display name; booking details and messages; for sellers, legal name, ABN, date of birth and licence numbers. Card and bank details are collected and held by Stripe, not by Workhearrt.

Why

To run bookings and payments, keep the marketplace safe, resolve disputes, and meet the law. The ATO requires platforms to report seller earnings under the Sharing Economy Reporting Regime, which is why we collect seller identity details.

Chat monitoring

Messages are automatically checked for contact details and requests to pay outside Workhearrt. The original text of moderated messages is kept privately for our trust team for dispute handling.

Location

Sellers’ suburbs are shown on a map as a general area. Exact addresses are shared only between a buyer and seller after a booking.

Who we share with

Stripe (payments and identity checks), Supabase (database hosting), Vercel (website hosting), and the ATO when legally required. Some providers may store data outside Australia.

Your choices

You can ask to access, correct or delete your information. Some records must be kept for tax law.
