Terms of Service

1. What Workhearrt is

Workhearrt Marketplace Pty Ltd runs an online marketplace that connects buyers with independent sellers of services. Sellers are independent businesses, not our employees or agents. Sellers set their own packages, prices and availability.

2. Fees

Buyers pay no service fee. We charge sellers a fee of 15% of each completed order, deducted before the seller is paid. GST applies to our fee where we are registered for GST.

3. Payments held until approval

Buyers pay through Stripe when booking. Workhearrt holds the payment until the buyer approves the work, or automatically 72 hours after the booked time if no problem has been reported. Then the seller’s share is sent to their Stripe account.

4. Cancellations and refunds

Buyers can cancel for a full refund more than 24 hours before the booked time. Within 24 hours, use “Report a problem” and our team will decide fairly. Sellers can cancel at any time and the buyer is refunded in full.

5. Keeping it on Workhearrt

To protect everyone, contact details are hidden in chat and arranging payment outside Workhearrt is not allowed. Payments made outside Workhearrt are not covered by our protection or dispute process. Repeated attempts can lead to account suspension.

6. What can be listed

Only lawful services. Regulated work (for example electrical, plumbing, gas, building work, and work with children) requires the right licence or check, which we verify before the listing can be booked. Sexual services, weapons, drugs and gambling are not allowed.

7. How we rank results

“Best match” ranks services by search relevance, rating weighted by number of reviews, and completed orders. Sellers cannot pay to change their position.

8. Reviews

Only buyers with a completed order can leave a review. We do not remove genuine negative reviews. Sellers can reply publicly.

9. Your rights

Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms limits those rights.

10. Complaints

Use “Report a problem” on your order, or email support. We reply within 1 business day. If we can’t resolve it, you can contact Consumer Protection WA or the consumer regulator in your state.
